Longching, which literally translates as "dragon well," is said to have named after a well that contains relatively dense water, and after rain the lighter rainwater floating on its surface sometimes exhibits a sinuous and twisting boundary with the well water, which is supposed to resemble the movement of a Chinese dragon.
7001 is the grade number of our Longjing tea, which belongs to the first-class tea. It is made from tea leaves with one bud and two leaves in early April
Since 7101 is made of one bud and three leaves, it is not as tender and smooth as 7001 in terms of tea tenderness. But the taste is stronger and more resistant to brewing.
