Zheng Qing green tea, also named as "SENCHA", is a steamed green tea from ZheJiang province, harvested in the early summer (the second flush). It produces a rich, texture, with a clean, very refreshing green aroma. The cup develops a sweet flavor reminiscent of tender steamed veggies and fresh seaweed, with a rounded finish that coats the palate at the end. Our Zheng Qing green teas are puck from the gardens which are managed by adopting USDA and EU practice and certificated by ECOCERT.
This tea garden located on the east of KUAI JI mountain (354m). The tea garden is not completely flat. A slight tilt to the land allows water to flow through and nourish the tea. The soil is soft and rich and the tea plants are healthy and get plenty of sun.
